I’m a big fan of Soap and Glory and have been extremely lucky to receive a few products from them to review and share with my lovely readers and about a week ago I got this Soap and Glory Bright Here Bright Now!
What’s Soap and Glory Bright Here Bright Now?
Bright Here Bright Now is described as an ‘instant-radiance energy boost balm’ and contains moisturisers, apricot kernel oil and some other ingredients which help to tone and soften the focus on lines or ‘blur’ lines as Soap and Glory like to say 🙂
What was my first impression of the product?
First of all let me say I LOVE all Soap and Glory packaging and this is no exception…I love the colouring and slightly old-fashioned tone to it 🙂
The only thing I didn’t like too much was how the product tube looked when I took it out of it’s boxing…it looked like it had been opened and used as you can see in the 6th picture (I think) but I do like how it’s in a tube allowing it to be applied easily 🙂
What does Soap and Glory Bright Here Bright Now feel/smell like?
Seeing as it’s a serum I thought it would be a gel-like cloudy/clear product but it’s actually a cream coloured product and has a thick lotion consistency and you can see the iridescent ‘highlighting’ colour running through the product.
It smells extremely fresh and minty almost like a toothpaste scent but I love it!
As soon as I applied it to skin I felt tingling/refreshing on my skin and I think that complimented the scent 100% to put it simply I think this feels how toothpaste would feel on the skin…tingly! 🙂
Some people won’t like the feeling of it when applied but I do, it feels like the product is doing something (even if it’s not) and it just leaves my skin feeling very refreshed.
If you apply the product to skin and massage it in, I did find that it got a little flaky….just something to point out…apply it lightly and let it sink into the skin.
What did my skin look like after applying Soap and Glory Bright Here Bright Now?
I can’t say I saw a massive improvement, it felt nice on my skin and it had a VERY subtle glow, I also used this under my makeup on one occasion and I got a very delicate sheen on my face and cheeks which I liked but if you’re one for a matte finish when you wear make-up then I don’t recommend it for you….

I like the look of this and like the shimmer in the product. I feel like shimmer just makes my skin look nicer so this is somethign I want to see in Boots 🙂

I haven’t tried this yet but it’s on my list of things. I bought a body scrub from Boots last week and I like that and it smells so nice.
Ahhh, their body scrub is lovely…I love the smell of their products too…especially their Glow Lotion…I bought that a few weeks ago…I might do a review on it! 🙂 xx

Hi Lilliana! It’s a lovely product and what I’ve recommended in my review is to apply it lightly and let it sink into the skin…don’t keep rubbing it once applied as this will cause it to flake (I don’t know why) but other than that it feels lovely and fresh on the skin! 🙂 xxx
