Outfit – Patchwork Denim
The sunshine is beaming through my office window and it looks glorious outside so I’ll be going for a coffee later on with some friends but before that I wanted to write a post about one of my favourite items of clothing – denim.
Denim is something everyone around the world owns, whether it’s denim jeans, denim shorts, denim jumpsuit or denim shirt….everyone has something denim in their wardrobe.
This spring/summer we’re seeing an update with denim and it’s really refreshing but also has an old-school feel to it and it’s denim patchwork.
As you can see on the picture above the jeans from Karen Millen look wonderful and I love the use of patchwork as it updates your look effortlessly and gives it a fun, fresh feel.
Seeing as the sunshine is making an appearance it’s easy to style jeans like this, teamed with simple flip flops and a colourful clutch bag…you really can’t go wrong!

I like keeping things casual and quite effortless especially during the day when I go from meeting to meeting or going for a coffee with friends and family.
Even though the Karen Millen jeans are on the expensive side I will definitely go and see them in store, in person as I think a good pair of jeans last a lifetime and things like this are an ‘investment‘ – this is my excuse for all my shopping 🙂
