Miss Selfridge AW13 Coats

As I’m typing this the weather outside is extremely miserable…it’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring…..you know how it goes haha! So obviously when the weather changes my mood and wardrobe changes to thicker jumpers, jeans, boots and of course coats so I thought I would share a few Miss Selfridge AW13 Coats which will be hitting stores soon!

What do I like about Miss Selfridge Coats?

This year as we can see pictured, I think Miss Selfridge have really embraced a 60’s vibe for their coats…especially the top two with the colouring. You might not think that baby pink and baby blue are ideal colours for coats but I wouldn’t say no to them as I can image they both look cute with simple jeans tucked into boots.

I love the designs of Miss Selfridge Coats as they look really cosy, just what you need when the weather gets cold!

How would I wear the Miss Selfridge Coats pictured above?

 I’ll list each one in order with a little detail underneath 🙂

– Miss Selfridge Pink Coat

I would wear this easily with a white t-shirt, casual denim jeans and boots. Adding a statement necklace to my plain t-shirt would bring the look together especially if it had a pop of pink in it. I’d wear my hair down and my make-up would be pretty simple with simple eyeliner and lipgloss.

– Miss Selfridge Baby Blue Coat with Fur Collar

I love the colour of this and again would team it up with a grey t-shirt, dark denim jeans and boots. Obviously a statement necklace wouldn’t be bad or a statement ring! I would wear my hair in a loose bun or ponytail to really show off the collar and have some simple studs in too. Make-up again would be simple leaving the focus on the coat!

– Miss Selfridge Red and Black Check Coat

I’d wear this with an all black outfit, black t-shirt, black jeans, black boots. Hair up or down…both would look good. Make-up would be a smoky eye and lipgloss just to give it a bit of drama. I love Red and black together and I tend to pick statement coats and dress quite casually as it’s easier and a lot more elegant in my opinion.
