Jason Wu For Hugo Boss – New York Fashion Week 2014

The newly appointed artistic director Jason Wu (who shot to fame after being chosen to dress Michelle Obama) has revealed that he signed up for the job because ‘I felt like I could make a difference’ and after showcasing his debut collection for Hugo Boss at New York Fashion Week I can see he’s worked wonders!

[pullquote width=”300″ float=”left”]Jason Wu For Hugo Boss – Sharp, Crisp and Structured balanced off beautifully with delicate textures, sequins and layering making it feminine enough![/pullquote]

Looking through the collection we can see that it’s very sharp, structured and crisp however Jason Wu has worked his magic and balanced off the collection beautifully with soft, delicate textures, sequins and layering making everything feminine enough.

There are pieces which I would wear myself especially those beautiful sweaters which look super-soft and delicate (grey and black) and I feel that the whole collection is perfectly suited for everyone.

From casual lunches, office wear and evening wear….if styled to your taste everything can work.

There’s nothing over the top or too ‘out there‘ so overall I’m very impressed with Jason Wu For Hugo Boss debut collection and I can’t wait to see more. 🙂

Let me know what you think of this collection, do you love the simplicity as much as me?
