Freedom Makeup Primer Review

Freedom Makeup Primer Review (Pro Studio Priming Water) – Hey everyone! So today I’m writing about Freedom Makeup which is a relatively new brand and actually brought to your by the creators of Makeup Revolution and Makeup Academy.

If we’re basing things on Makeup Revolution then you’ve got nothing to be worried about as everything that I’ve personally used from them has been brilliant and I know you’re all fans of the brand!

So, let’s get going with the Freedom Makeup Primer Review! 🙂

Freedom Makeup Primer Review – Packaging

As you can see this is a priming water, it’s different than most primers on the market and obviously comes packaged in a spray-pump bottle.

It looks sleek, crisp, clean and rather professional looking making it great for Makeup Artists – especially if you’re just starting out and don’t have a big budget to spend on products!

Freedom Makeup Primer Review – Scent

So I know that it’s weird to talk about the scent of a water-based product however this is pretty special!

The first time I used this I loved it – it’s a floral fresh scent and remind me of refreshing toner which is really lovely and rather calming…..great to use all year round but I can imagine this being really lovely in the summer months too just to refresh skin!

Freedom Makeup Primer Review – How to use?

I’d recommend using this like your primer – before applying your makeup and after applying your moisturiser.

If you suffer with oily / combination skin I’d use this prior to applying a mattifying primer too, this way you’re guaranteed to keep your skin feeling hydrated, nourished and makeup looking flawless without any excess shine!

Freedom Makeup Primer Review – Does it work?

Yes!

That’s the short answer haha – it does work and I really like how my skin looks (and feels) when using this.

After applying my moisturiser I just spritz 3-4 sprays onto my skin and neck which feels really refreshing and I let it settle / absorb for a good couple of minutes.

It’s a great base for my makeup and I love how my skin looks during the day, if I know I’ll be out in the evening too and need my makeup to last ALL day and into the evening, I’ll apply extra primer like I’ve listed above for oily / combination skin and I’m happy!

Freedom Makeup Primer Review – Purchase

Priced at just £6.00 – you can purchase this from Freedom Makeup’s website by clicking PRO Priming Water and you can click Freedom Makeup London Website to see all their products!

If you’re a makeup artist I recommend checking out their products, especially if you’re starting out in your career.

Without spending a fortune, you’ll have a great variety of products to use which look professional and give you the quality you’ll need when working in studio and on set – add a couple of high-end items to your kit and it’ll be enough for a few months till the money rolls in! 🙂

I would love, love, love to know if any of you have tried this or any other product from Freedom Makeup – have you heard of the brand or is it new to you??

Let me know! 🙂

I love the idea of a spray primer, it sounds super refreshing and really easy to use (not that regular primers are difficult, but you know what I mean!) Great review! XO -Kim
