Pochettes - a trend that's back in style and something which you need to be looking out for on the runway during the fashion-season but for those of you who may not know.... what's a Pochette!?
Fashion Trend: Pochettes - What Are They?
Pochette - this is a fashion item that was completely off the radar however, as with most things, it's making a comeback but for those of you who may not know..... what is a Pochette!?
A Pochette is a small bag which is shaped like an envelope - it's thinner than a typical clutch bag and a lot wider.
For example, take a look at the picture here on the right.
Pochettes and The Designer Twist
As with anything in the fashion world, nowadays designers are putting their own spin on things and what was once considered to be a typical Pochette can now be seen in a variety of styles.
There's mini Pochettes, wrist Pochettes (perfect for fashion shows) and the odd-shape Pochette as seen here in the picture on the left, thanks to Balenciaga!
It's still thinner and wider compared to a clutch bag though.. 😉

I absolutely love pochettes; they have such a #girlboss vibe to them thanks to their edgy style and (usually) bold colours/patterns! Sadly, I’m guilty of forever putting things down and forgetting about them, and so pochettes probably aren’t for me…. but I’m happy to keep admiring them on others, for sure! 😉 Hope you’re having a lovely week so far!
