Eyeshadow Palettes in 2013

I cannot believe how quickly this year has gone by and I can’t wait to see what 2014 has in store for use but I thought it would be quite a good post to mention a few of the most loved eyeshadow palettes in 2013, the ones that created a lot of buzz and hype in the blogging/beauty world!

Urban Decay’s Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette

This is probably the most known and loved eyeshadow palette, Urban Decay always bring out some gorgeous shades and colours and although a lot of people thought the first one had the best colours I actually really like this one.

It consists of gorgeous rosy/peach/natural colours and a couple of darker shades and I think it’s a lovely combination of colours that can be used to create gorgeous looks!

Laura Mercier Artists Palette for Eyes

This wasn’t seen as much as the Urban Decay palette however the colours are stunning! It’s a lovely mix of matte colours, satin colours and shimmery shades – again these can be used to create some beautiful smokey eyes – my favourite colour has to be African Violet….it’s lovely!

Too Faced Pretty Rebel Eyeshadow

This is a different palette to all the others and slightly funkier with a couple of brighter shades like blue, pink and black.

On another note there’s some lovely delicate shades and everything can be used to create lovely looks…I’d use the brighter shades as an eyeliner and to add a pop of colour.

These are just some of the wonderful palettes we’ve seen in 2013 and I cannot wait to see what 2014 will be bringing us!
