Essence Pink & Proud Nail Polish
I’m a fan of Essence Cosmetics and even though I don’t like all their products overall they are a wonderful AFFORDABLE brand giving you a variety of items at let’s face it bargain prices.
Essence Pink & Proud Nail Polish – Packaging
The packaging is really cute and I love how the cap is the exact same colour as the nail polish itself, a touch of silver writing goes a long way too and stands out against the colour.
Essence Pink & Proud Nail Polish – Colour
Pink & Proud isn’t really pink, I would say it’s more of a metallic lilac than pink and has a gorgeous sheen to it.
It’s a lovely colour and even though we’re all reaching for darker shades why not stand out with a colour like this – add a couple of midi rings for a cool vibe! 🙂
Essence Pink & Proud Nail Polish – Brush
When it comes to cheap nail polishes the brush is normally terrible, really fine and all it does is drag off the nail polish rather than apply it – not with this!
This brush is actually brilliant and I can even compare it to higher end brands, it’s thick and with just one coat nails looked great and there were no uneven/streaky areas in sight!
Essence Pink & Proud Nail Polish – Lasting Power
Essence nail polishes haven’t been that impressive but it does depend on what type….if it’s just a normal colour they normally last a day before you see chipping.
Metallic shades tend to last longer generally due to the formula and the Pink & Proud colour lasted me 2 days and on the 3rd I started seeing chips.
If you’re like me you won’t be bothered by this as you probably change your nail colour everyday unless you’re testing them.
If you don’t change your nail polish everyday then don’t complain as it’s a bargain anyway hahahaha! 🙂
