Essence Blush Up! Powder Blush – Heatwave Review *

We’ve all seen how Essence has taken the ‘beauty blogging world’ by storm and even though it’s been a few months since the craze it’s showing no signs of stopping!

In this post I’m going to be writing a review about the Essence Blush Up Powder Blush in Colour Heatwave. 🙂

Essence Blush Up! Powder Blush – Heatwave Review – Packaging

Essence has very neat packaging, I love being able to see the actual product through the lid as it’s such a pretty shade and the added silver writing is lovely too.

I notice little things like this but I’m loving that the label also matches the colour of the product – very cute and yes I know…I’m a geek for picking up on things like this haha! 🙂

It’s compact and really quite a lovely product to take away on holiday too!

Essence Blush Up! Powder Blush – Heatwave Review – Colour

When I was at the Essence event this really stood out amongst all other blushers, the colour is really lovely and I love how it goes from a coral to pink colour – perfect to use separately or together for a rosy glow.

One of the girls who was helping out at the Essence event had a really lovely rosy glow and I asked her which blush she was wearing and it was this one! 🙂

Essence Blush Up! Powder Blush – Heatwave Review – Lasting

I wear this on days when I feel like my skin needs a boost and to look healthier – we all have them days!

Using a fluffy blusher brush I dab lightly onto the blush (it’s very pigmented) and lightly sweep it across from the apples (plumpest part when you smile) of the cheeks to mid cheek blending it with my bronzer.

It lasts all day and looks great from morning till night so I have no complaints whatsoever about the lasting power of the blush BUT it could be due to the primer and other products I wear.

Essence Blush Up! Powder Blush – Heatwave Review – Overall

Overall I am VERY impressed with this blush, it’s great value for money, it’s pigmented so a little colour goes a very long way and it gives skin a beautiful rosy glow.

For anyone that loves blush or likes the ‘english rose‘ look then this is a product to add to your collection!

Essence Blush Up! Powder Blush – Heatwave Review – Purchase

You can purchase this from Wilko’s for just £3.50 – it’s a bargain really so this would be perfect as a stocking filler or even for someone starting out in make-up.
