Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick Review – I can’t talk about Clarins enough, it’s a brand that I can count on and I feel extremely lucky to be working with them. Trying out new products, seeing the new launches and the best part – I haven’t been disappointed!
Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick Review – Packaging
Simple, sleek and exactly like all the other Clarins products – this comes in the famous red packaging with contrasting white writing and I love the simplicity of it.
I love lipstick (and makeup in general) that come packaged in boxes, it just gives you the impression that the brand has put in more thought as to how their products will be received and I like that.
Inside the outer packaging you’re greeted with a very cool lipstick, it comes in an almost mirror-like packaging, it’s so sleek and cool that I didn’t actually want to touch it so I didn’t leave a fingerprint on it hahaha! 🙂
Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick Review – Colour
This is a really pretty colour, it’s a shimmery pink which is absolutely beautiful, suits every skin tone and has a blue undertone which makes your teeth look whiter – bonus!
It’s a sheer / transparent lipstick so colour does have to be built up gradually but I like that you can just add more for your desired look – it’s such a complimenting shade and is perfect to wear in the day with eyeliner and in the evening with a smokey eye!

Creamy and nourishing are two words that best describe this product, all of Clarins’ lipsticks are super-smooth and have a butter-like feeling when applied which is great!
Normally beauty bloggers (and myself) tend to complain about lipsticks being rather drying however Clarins is a brand that tends to get it right and it’s another thumbs up from me! 🙂

I highly recommend this brand in general but if you’re looking for a universally complimenting lipstick then this is the one!
It’s a gorgeous colour which can be built-up to a desired look, it makes your teeth appear whiter and is nourishing so all in all a really wonderful addition to your make-up kit and perfect for summer holidays as this will be the only lipstick you’ll need! 🙂

These photos are beautiful!! And I agree, that is a gorgeous color… it’s like the perfect pink! Makes me want to experiment more with lip color! I’ve really only ever used Urban Decay and Revlon (my fave) lipsticks… favorite Revlon colors are Sassy Mauve and Fire & Ice.
