Boutique Nail Polish Sainsbury’s

Boutique Nail Polish Sainsbury’s – Ah, hello everyone! I hope you’re all well and having a great week so far! I can’t believe how quickly time is going by – I mean, it’s June already!?
So really, we’re now in ‘summer’ and as I’m typing this – it’s raining outside….great!
This is a post that’s definitely going to cheer you up though – just look at how beautiful and summery these Boutique Nail Polish colours are!
Boutique Nail Polish Sainsbury’s – Packaging
As you can see, these come in your normal nail polish bottle – pretty standard but the ‘boutique‘ font / writing gives it a luxury look and on first glance, you wouldn’t think it’s from a supermarket brand.
If you scroll down, you’ll be able to see the detail on the cap too – you actually take of the ‘cap’ of the bottle which reveals the wand. It’s little touches like this which count in my opinion and it just shows that Sainsbury’s have gone that extra mile to make their products look and feel better when being used.
Boutique Nail Polish Sainsbury’s – Wand
I thought I wouldn’t like the wand as much…. on first appearance – it looks like a fine wand that will apply your nail polish streaky however, it’s not.
It’s quite a thin wand when you look at it however on application it ‘widens’ covering all your nail in one light sweep.
Boutique Nail Polish Sainsbury’s – Texture
Again, as soon as you hear that these polishes are from your supermarket, you instantly assume it’s going to streaky, watery and not at all pigmented BUT you’ll be pleasantly surprised with these.
Boutique Nail Polish have a lovely texture – just like a normal high-street brand, the colour applies in one easy coat.
I always apply 2-3 coats of nail polish to ensure that the colour is bold and even. After 2 coats the colours all looked fine but I still went an applied 3 to make sure it looked nice.
Boutique Nail Polish Sainsbury’s – Lasting Power
Ok, so this section is a little bit weird.
When I used the dark blue shade (Bolt Out Of The Blue) – the nail polish chipped quickly and lasted for around 1 full day without any chipping appearing however when I used the glorious bright pink colour (Nail On The Head)- it lasted for 3 full days before I saw chips appearing.
So, it kind of depends on the colour but I know that in the summer the bright pink will be my personal favourite – it’s such a gorgeous pink and has a blue undertone meaning it compliments all skin tones and just looks beautiful!

great to hear that there is actually a supermarket which sells decently formulated nail polishes! £4 is definitely a bargain, especially as these colours are so beautiful. next time im in sainsburys, will definitely go and check them out. shame that the blue chips easily though as it was the colour im immediately drawn to, but the pinks are so lovely too!
