Boucleme is a brand that’s new to me, I only found out about the brand a week before Christmas! It’s a brand that has been specially developed by Michelle Scott-Lynch to tame unruly curly hair and below I have all the details on the how and why…
Boucleme Curl Cleanser
This a non-foaming cleanser that cleanses and nourishes your hair and scalp without upsetting the natural moisture balance. A blend of argan, olive oil, aloe vera and pomegranate extract to nourish your scalp – it contains no harsh chemicals or foaming detergents making it suitable for daily use.
I have to say I did find this slightly odd to use as I like that “clean” feeling so I do prefer a foaming shampoo as opposed to a cream shampoo but it’s all about keeping your hair moisturised and nourished.
Boucleme Curl Conditioner
A super-hydrating curl conditioner which is rich in Omega 3, 6, 9, Vitamin E and plenty of antioxidants to strengthen your hair and also protect it from the daily environmental stresses and pollution!
I really like this conditioner, it’s thick yet lightweight and your hair feels nourished, soft, smooth and luscious after use!
Boucleme Curl Defining Gel
This is a moisturising gel that has been developed to hold the curl without flaking or being sticky on the hair. The gel dries to create a ‘barrier’ around curls leaving them defined, smooth and frizz-free all day long!
This is the first gel that I have used on my curly hair which actually works! It’s lovely and you need such a little amount – my hair looks and feels defined, this will be my must-have on holiday!
Boucleme Organic Curl Towel
Super soft and perfect for achieving that beautiful curl! Made from 46% organic cotton, 46% bamboo and 8% elasthane this absorbs excess water only allowing your hair to retain moisture.
This is a lovely addition but I have to admit I don’t use this every time I wash my hair – I know, bad Layla however I did see a small difference when I used it compared to not! When I did use this my hair did feel a lot softer, smooth and actually looked shinier!

Woah, this sounds like a hair care collection I need for my hair. Although my hair is not very curly, I like using shampoos that don’t weigh my waves down, I like it to fluff up and do its thing, hehehe!
