Beauty – Give Skin A Dewy Glow

So many people love the “dewy glow” look – we’ve seen it on celebrities walking down the red carpet, beauty magazines and of course beauty and fashion bloggers.

With summer closing in, everyone seems to be looking for “effortless makeup’ however the dewy glow can work just as well in summer as in winter.

I’m going to show you how easy and simple it is to get the dewy glow using any type of foundation – liquid, pressed, loose, mineral….it’s THAT easy!

Beauty/Makeup Products

So first this is first – what do you need?

The main thing is going to be Soap & Glory Bright Here Bright Now, it’s an energy boost balm and has a gel-creme texture with a subtle shimmer – click HERE to read my review.

Foundation – you can use ANY foundation but I’ve listed the ones featured in the pictures.

How-To: Get A Dewy Glow

Ok, so after your usual skincare routine in the morning apply your primer and let it sink into your skin.

Once you’re happy take Bright Here Bright Now and apply a pea-size amount to the back of your hand – using your ring finger gently dot some of the product along the cheekbone right up to the hairline and arch of the brow.

(I only apply to these 2 areas otherwise I find it’s too ‘shiny’ for my skin – if you think your skin is looking a bit “ugh” then apply along the nose and forehead too)

Along the cheekbone I blend the product up to my hairline and down where my bronzer would sit making sure it stays in the “cheekbone” area.

I also blend the product on the arch of my brow and sometimes go over the eye area to “brighten” too.

Once you’re happy you’ve blended the product into the skin apply your foundation as normal and finish off your make-up.

It’s as simple as that!!!

You can really use any type of cream which contains a subtle shimmer, it’ll give your skin a lovely glow but make sure the shimmer is peach or gold tone – not pink as this doesn’t have the same effect!

Let me know what you think!
