Algenist Splash Moisturiser Review - Packaging
You know that I love writing about the packaging of beauty products which I review on here and as you can see, Algenist has gone for a simple, yet high-end finish.
I love skincare when it comes packaged in boxes - it gives them a luxury feel (which is something we all love) and shows you that the brand has gone into a bit more effort.
The moisturiser itself comes in a glass jar - this is something that I love as it's a lot more hygienic to use, compared to plastic, and it's little things like this which make a brand stand out!
Algenist Splash Moisturiser Review - Packaging Features
Here are 2 things which I think are worth mentioning in regards to the packaging of the moisturiser.
- When you open the moisturiser, you'll notice that there's an extra cap which seals the moisturiser. Another great feature from Algenist who have gone a step further to make sure your moisturiser stays lovely for longer.
- On the side of the moisturiser, you can see a measurement feature showing you how much of the cream you've used. You can just see it featured in the image below (on the left hand side, next to the Algenist logo).

OK, so in this section we'll be covering some of the details you want to know about the moisturiser - including the formula and the benefits for your skin.
Moisturiser
The Algenist Splash Moisturiser has been described as a product to "visibly hydrate, plump and energise skin" due to the ultra-hydrating formula which has been developed.

The moisturiser combines Alguronic Acid and Algalyte Complex to continuously hydrate your skin.
The Algalyte Complex also contains a red micro algae polysaccharide and energising electrolytes which penetrate the skin's surface, boosting hydration and helping to restore (and balance) your skin's hydration levels and balancing your skin's texture.

Algenist Splash Moisturiser Review - Texture
This is a really unique moisturiser due to it's texture.
Looking at it, it's just like a cream however as soon as your skin comes into contact with the moisturiser, it turns into a gel.
Not any gel either - it's a cooling, ultra-hydrating gel which leaves your skin feeling soft, plump, smooth and re-energized.
Scent - if you like sweet scents, this isn't for you. The Algenist Splash Moisturiser has an uplifting fresh scent due to the ingredients used.

So overall, this is a lovely moisturiser and I use it when I feel like my skin needs a boost. I also have a little feeling that this will be one of my go-to moisturisers during the summer months too due to it's cooling effect on the skin.
