Tarte Smooth Operator Pressed Powder Review –  Tarte Cosmetics is a brand that I have wanted to feature on here for quite a long time and haven’t had the chance to – until now!

The first product from the brand that I’m going to be writing about is the Tarte Smooth Operator Pressed Powder which you can see pictured above, it’s a pressed powder that contains amazonian clay and mineral pigments for a flawless finish but all the details are listed below!

As you can see this comes in a little box which is always handy – especially when lining everything up in your makeup drawers and boxes!

Inside you have a little compact that looks really sleek and has a matte finish with a shiny detailed design!

Obviously, as you can see in the pictures, this is a pressed powder but please don’t think that this will feel heavy on your skin – I found that when applying it with a Kabuki Brush it becomes a super-super-lightweight powder!

So lightweight that you can’t feel it – yes really!

I also like using my Nanshy Angled Foundation Brush to add a bit more coverage to skin in the evening but again it feels VERY lightweight for a pressed powder!

Tarte Smooth Operator Pressed Powder Review – How to Apply

 One of the ways I apply this is by using a Kabuki Brush but there’s 2 options that work for me and here they are below.

Kabuki Brush – I use my Kabuki Brush to apply this during the day when I just want to set my make-up in place and also give my skin a really flawless look.

Angled Foundation Brush – This is another option that I quite like as it’s perfect when applying my evening/night makeup as the powder blends into skin beautifully, still remaining lightweight on the skin but it just gives you a flawless (airbrush-like) finish!

This contains amazonian clay and mineral pigments, it’s been designed to be long-lasting and to help keep your makeup in place…does it deliver? Yes! It really does!
