I’m back with my Motivation Monday posts and today it’s all about how to have a good week and keep your spirits (and mood) feeling great!
Motivation Monday: Have a Good Week – Don’t Stress
Easier said than done – yes!
I’ve said it before, it’s easy for me to sit behind a computer and type away – I have no idea what’s happening in any of your lives and the same goes for you to me BUT I want to share this thought – what is stress actually going to do for you?
Is it going to help you? No
Is it going to make your problems go away? No
Is it going to help you deal with anything? No
Stress doesn’t help!
We all go through difficult times in our life and it’s important to not let stress get in the way with things as it doesn’t help you in any way, shape or form.
Whatever we go through only makes us stronger and always remember that there’s someone in a worse position than you – as long as you have health and your friends and family around you, that’s all the matters!
Motivation Monday: Have a Good Week – Do a new thing everyday (this week)
OK, so we’ve left our stresses behind – now to have a good week try something different and push yourself out of your comfort zone.
Do something new everyday for this week only and see how much better you’ll feel at the end of the week.
Is there a town that you want to go and visit? Book a day off work and go – life is too short to worry!
Do you always stop yourself from buying things? Treat yourself to that top that you want – it’ll make you happy!
Don’t see your friends or family enough? Go out for a meal – you’ll all benefit!
It’s the little things that count so try doing something new everyday, get out of your comfort zone and don’t think about money for one week – you’ll feel a lot better in yourself and you’ll actually be doing what you want rather than what you should be following.
Like I keep saying in my posts, I know it’s easy for me to type away and say ‘do this‘ and ‘do that‘ however life is too short to follow the rules, we need to step out of our comfort zones and do what we love.
We all get stuck into a routine, we go to work to pay the bills but we don’t enjoy our surroundings or ourselves enough – why!?
Why should we get stuck into this daily routine – we’ll only end up looking back and thinking about what we didn’t do and looking back at who we didn’t spend enough time with.
Take a chance, push yourself and make a change – you have one life so go out there and enjoy it!
Start from this week – do one thing a day that you wouldn’t normally do!
