Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals Brush Review (Ultra Flawless Powder Brush) – Hey everyone! I hope you’re all well and having a wonderful weekend so far!

For those of you who are staying home after a night out – why not have a little browse at some new make-up brushes for your collection?

As you can see, I’m writing about the Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals Brush – it’s the ultra flawless powder brush and I think you’re all going to love it! 🙂

Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals Brush Review – Packaging

As you can see, it’s sleek and simple yet lovely! I love that you can see the gorgeous rose/peach gold colour of the brush, it contrasts beautifully against the white bristles and just looks oh-so luxurious!

Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals Brush Review – Brush & Bristles

OK, so I thought I would write about the brush weight too – normally when brushes are affordable they tend to be rather lightweight but not this!

This feels sturdy and just like a high-end brush and yes, even better than MAC!

The bristles are lovely too – super soft and just gorgeous to use as it doesn’t drag on your skin or feel harsh.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals Brush Review – After Washing

I’ve washed this twice since receiving it as I wanted to wash it in different ways to see how it would look and feel.

First time round, I washed it as normal – applying a touch of fairy liquid and rinsing it in lukewarm water then letting it air-dry.

It looked absolutely fine and felt just as soft as the first time I used it – no bristles dropped out either!

Second time of washing – I used the Makeup Revolution Brush Cleaner (full review coming soon) and again, the bristles feel super-soft and it’s just as good as new.

I mean, it’s still new but you know what I mean 😉

Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals Brush Review – Application

Like I mentioned above, this feels lovely when you apply make-up….it doesn’t drag on your skin or feel harsh which is brilliant for such an affordable brush.

I love using this as a powder brush as the curves allows you to dab powder onto your skin without losing much product – it seems that powder and product ‘sticks’ or stays onto the brush a lot better than some of my other brushes….. I don’t know how they do it but Makeup Revolution has got this spot on!

Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals Brush Review – Overall

I highly, highly, highly recommend this brush – it’s one of my favourite make-up brushes and I have a little feeling that I’ll be adding more of the range to my collection!

Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals Brush Review – Purchase

OK, so below I’ve linked to the brush featured in this post AND to the collection I’ve spotted whilst browsing the store…. 🙂

I’m so impressed with this make-up brush and just when you think things can’t get any better, Makeup Revolution brings more wonderful goodies to us!

If these brushes were available when I’d started in make-up, I would have chosen these instead of my MAC brushes hands down, they’re so much better in terms of quality, feel, looks – well, everything is better! 🙂

Let me know what you all think – isn’t this brush just so pretty!?

I love the look of the Makeup Revolution brushes. I love the rose gold handles – they are definitely cheaper than the Real Techniques Bold Metals brushes x

Oooo this looks like such a good brush! I probably don’t need anymore makeup brushes but to be honest I have a soft spot for them and always seem to add more to my collection. The packaging of this is gorgeous as well, it really reminds me of the Real Techniques brushes.

Oh, this brush looks lovely. I’m searching for a good powder brush atm. I’ve a few from MAC, Zoeva and Real Techniques, but I haven’t found my holy grail powder brush yet. Maybe I’ll give this one a try. 🙂

Great review, I love how in-depth you described it! It sounds brilliant, now you really made me want to get it! I’ve tried a few MUR palettes and I love them, but I’ve never paid attention to their brushes. And the actual bristles and design looks really high quality, I’ll have to pick it up! xo
