This is a solid brush cleaner and when it says solid – it means solid!

When this first landed on my desk, I thought it would be like a balm which would ‘melt’ on contact with your skin or a brush but no…. it’s more like a bar of soap and needs water to be ‘activated’ – sounds cool? Thought so… 🙂

Plus – this has a very subtle clean and fresh scent….it’s like a cleaning product with a touch of lemon….

Working as a make-up artist means you need to take a lot of brushes with you as you create different looks and work with a lot of people on set… it’s essential your tools are clean at all times.

Not only is this great for make-up artists but we all know, cleaning makeup brushes can be a chore (even though I enjoy it) however this solid brush cleaner makes things a lot easier and quicker meaning you get more time to play with make-up! (Yay)

Like I mentioned above, I thought it would be a balm that would ‘melt’ however it acts like a soap –  dissolving the makeup and giving your brushes a deep clean!

I was thinking about filming a video showing you how to use this – especially if you’re new to the world of makeup! (hello if you are)

It can be a little overwhelming with all these new products and different ways of looking after and cleaning your brushes but I’ll do my best to describe how to use this below!

• Run brushes under warm running water.
• Gently place and swirl brushes into the solid brush cleaner until it starts to foam – this will deep-clean brushes.
• Once ‘lather’ starts to turn white, rinse brushes and repeat the process.
• Rinse brushes and once done you can also run the balm under water to clean.
• Leave lid open and allow balm to dry.

Perfect for on the go or quick cleaning – now you have no excuse but to keep those makeup brushes clean! 🙂
