Lost in Luxembourg
Lost In Luxembourg
So, here's a little travel post for you all - featuring a little insight into my time in Luxembourg.
What did I think of the location? You can see all the details below along with plenty of images.
Enjoy 🙂
Hello everyone!
I hope you're all well and having a lovely weekend - I'm currently sat in my hotel room and I have a little bit of time to spare before I go out and eat some lovely food.
If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have seen my photos and videos from my travels.
I'm travelling in Europe and stopped off in Luxembourg and to my surprise, it wasn't how I imagined....
You can see all the details below along with plenty of images.
Luxembourg - Travel
It was my first time visiting Luxembourg and upon arriving at the hotel, I had a shower and got ready - making my way to the town centre.
It wasn't entirely how I imagined, I thought that it would be quite a lively place to visit with things to do but it wasn't - the place was slightly run down and the shops were closed despite it being a Saturday.
Luxembourg
Walking through the town centre, I found a little spot (by chance) which was really pretty.
I could see a bridge through the trees along with some lovely buildings and to one side there was a stairway leading down to a lovely old-style cobbled pathway.
Luxembourg
Making the way back through the town centre, there were little streets which led off the centre itself so decided to take a look!
Here, we came across a really lovely (quiet) restaurant which had a large outdoor seating area - it was extremely pretty and had delicate lighting which set off a relaxed atmosphere.
Taking advantage of the weather, we sat outside.
After travelling all day, I ordered a coffee and to my surprise, the restaurant provided a little starter. I can't tell you what it was called but it tasted good - it came served with a tomato & chilli dip!
Sitting outside really does make a difference and even though the restaurant was tucked away, it was really lovely.
After enjoying some food, we all made our way back to the hotel and you can see more photos below.
