Clarins doesn’t really need an introduction, it’s one of the most well known brands in the world and specialises in prestige skincare and make-up.

I was kindly sent the Clarins Energizer Cleansing Gel which you can see pictured above and over the past couple of weeks I’ve been testing it for my review! 🙂

Using the Clarins Energiser Cleansing Gel

You can tell from the name that it’s a gel product so of course you can’t really use it on dry skin.

All you need to do is splash face with warm water, apply a 5p size amount of product into the palm of hands and massage onto damp skin. Rinse and repeat if needed!

Done! 🙂

Clarins Energizer Cleansing Gel Texture

As mentioned above and as you can tell from it’s name this is a gel cleanser, I normally stay well away from gel cleansers as they’re normally to harsh on my skin and make it feel really dry however there was something about this that made me want to use it!

The texture is a gel (obviously) however when you apply it onto damp skin it becomes a creamy gel formula which is unlike anything else.

It just glides onto the skin and feels super-refreshing.

How does skin feel?

Whilst massaging the product on your face you can really feel it working and cleansing the skin, it’s so refreshing and beautiful.

I wouldn’t say it tingles….it’s just really revitalising and quite fresh which is exactly what it says..it’s an energizing gel so top marks to Clarins!

Once you’ve rinsed and dried your skin with a soft towel you can feel that your skin is clean clean, not just clean hahaha!

The ONLY downside is that I can’t use this every single day as it did make it feel slightly tighter and a touch dry so I use this 2-3 times a week maximum.

Do I recommend the Clarins Energizer Cleansing Gel?

I’m so picky when it comes to beauty products that it’s stupid however I really like this cleansing gel.

I wouldn’t say it’s a daily product but I would say it’s for when your skin needs to feel refreshed and revitalised so I would recommend this to be used 2-3 times a week.

It feels so lovely and refreshing on the skin so for those of you who love that ‘clean’ feeling then you’ll definitely love this and at £12.00 it’s not bad at all!
