Beat The Blues – So before I actually start writing this post I just want to state (for the record) that I’m currently a very happy girl and not feeling those ‘January Blues’ however I know that a lot of you out there aren’t feeling as happy as me so fingers crossed this will help a few of you in some way!
We all start the New Year feeling motivated, refreshed and ready to face whatever life throws at us but January is considered to be a ‘depressing’ month and I feel that’s because we let it be…
If there’s one thing that I could say to people, it’s that we only live once!
Life really is too short to be unhappy, stressed or feeling down and I know, it’s easier said than done – let’s face it, who am I? I’m just a blogger, sat at her desk, typing away at a computer BUT the matter of the fact is you need to do what makes YOU happy.
Make the most of every single day, you don’t know what will happen tomorrow!
If you’re unhappy at your job, leave and follow your dreams. If you’re unhappy where you live, move away and start again. If you’re unhappy in a relationship, leave….
I think most of us tend to get stuck in a routine which is considered to be ‘normal’ and we get used to our surroundings, day-to-day life and we don’t take the risks that we should be taking, meaning that we don’t live the life that we should be living.
So if you’re feeling down or a little under the weather think about making some changes in your life, I know it’s easier said than done but if you make time for yourself and gather your thoughts you’ll see things a lot clearer and everything will slowly start falling into place.
Don’t think of January as a ‘depressing’ month, think of it as a new year with a new start – follow your dreams and go after what you love!
Beat the blues – you don’t know what will happen tomorrow and we only have one life so live it! 🙂
