B Anti Blemish Primer Review
B Anti Blemish Primer Review – Hey everyone! I hope you’re all well and having a great weekend so far! For a lot of you – it’ll be an extra chill day as it’s bank holiday so make sure you go out and enjoy yourselves! 🙂
Today I’m writing about the B Anti Blemish Primer – I didn’t think it would be this popular with you lovely readers but I featured it in my everyday drugstore makeup post and a lot of you wanted to find out more about this so, here’s the full review!
B Anti Blemish Primer Review – Packaging
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, for me B is a brand that doesn’t get enough hype- they’re a great brand that provide good quality, affordable products!
As you can see, like most of their packaging, it’s sleek and rather compact – I love that this anti blemish primer comes in a squeeze tube rather than a pot, it’s a lot more hygienic and easier to use!
B Anti Blemish Primer Review – Formula
I know that a lot of people want to know about what’s in this product so below I’ve written a few of the key ingredients.
- Salicylic Acid – Helps to prevent blemishes and breakouts for clearer skin.
- Aloe Vera – Helps to soothe skin and leave it comfortable.
- Bisabolol – Hydrates and nourishes skin.
A formula blended using fine ingredients to help soothe and combat against breakouts and blemishes whilst keeping skin soft, smooth and comfortable.
B Anti Blemish Primer Review – Texture
As you’ll be able to see in the pictures below, this isn’t like your normal primer – it’s a creamy, lightweight texture that sinks into your skin like a daily-moisturiser.
It doesn’t feel greasy at all – it’s absorbed in minutes and skin feels super-soft, plump and smooth.
B Anti Blemish Primer Review – Does it work?
OK, so I’ve been using this for the past week or so and I have to say from what I can see, I’m impressed!
My skin looks a lot clearer and I haven’t had any breakouts whatsoever which makes me think that this does act like a ‘barrier‘ on skin protecting it from make-up and bacteria.
Does it leave skin looking matte? Considering that this is created for oily skin it doesnt keep skin looking matte – I did find that I had to re-apply some powder on my t-zone, nose and apples of the cheeks to reduce shine which disappointed me slightly.
B Anti Blemish Primer Review – Overall
Would I recommend this? I would but I wouldn’t say it’s for oily/combination skin!
If you suffer with dry skin that tends to breakout then this is a product for you as it hydrates, softens and nourishes your skin leaving it beautiful for your make-up.
If you suffer with oily/combination skin then I do think there’s better alternatives out there on the market as you’ll be re-apply the powder during the day to minimise the appearance of shine.
If you’re set on trying this anyway then you could apply your setting powder before primer and this will really help to keep shine to a minimum!

I’ve tried a couple of primers, but haven’t found one I love yet. This sounds really good though, especially as I have dry, eczema prone skin. My only gripe with B. is that I can never find an ingredients list at my local Superdrug. Xx

Ah hun bless you – primers are very strange and I have a post on them very soon about what’s best for which skin type etc – check the back of the products….they should have a list or a little fold-out booklet! 🙂 I’ll have a look in-store and see if I can find anything for you xxx
I really like the colour of the packaging lol, but I really like that you said it wasn’t for oily/combination skin. That’s really useful to know thank you xxx

Thank you so much – it’s not the best for oily skin but like I said, if you suffer with dry skin that tends to breakout it’s great as it does actually help control breakouts! 🙂 xxx
